WHS Sydney: the people behind successful robotics
As the Workplace Health & Safety Show in Sydney comes to a close, the ERA and PUDU team photo is a reminder of what makes commercial robotics work: the people around it.

People are what make robotics work
The robots may get the attention, but behind every successful deployment are people making the technology useful in the real world.
In our reflection on the Workplace Health & Safety Show, we highlighted the contribution of:
- Teams understanding customer challenges
- Engineers improving the technology
- People deploying, training and supporting it
- Customers willing to rethink how work gets done
- Partners working together to make it happen
That collaboration is what ERA values about working with PUDU Robotics: technology and practical implementation need to work together.
Conversations grounded in real operations
WHS Sydney gave us another opportunity to speak with businesses across cleaning, delivery, logistics, warehousing and workplace safety, and understand where robotics can create real value.
Those discussions connect directly to the tasks served by our commercial cleaning robots, delivery robots and industrial and logistics robots. The starting point is the work a business needs done, not simply the machine it wants to buy.
Successful automation goes beyond the machine
Robotics depends on the workflow, the implementation and the support behind it. A robot needs to fit the environment and the people who will use it.
ERA’s site assessment, deployment, training and ongoing support help teams work through those practical requirements. For businesses evaluating a project, our robot ROI calculator can also help estimate operational savings and a rough payback timeframe, before a site-specific proposal.
Robotics is not just about the future. It is about people working together to make it useful today.
Thank you to everyone who visited
Thank you to everyone who visited us at WHS Sydney, shared their operational challenges and explored what robotics could do for their business. Thank you also to the ERA and PUDU teams behind it all.
